The MicroMillions Main Event is coming up this Sunday. It’s a $ 22 buy-in with an enormous $ 1,000,000 guaranteed prize pool. If any of the other MicroMillions are anything to go by then you can expect the turnout to be huge – it was 61,072 during November’s edition.

Every Sunday, Carbon Poker holds a massive $ 100,000 Guaranteed (Sunday Big Ticket) tournament where the buy-in is $ 109, or 10,900 VIP points. This has proven to be a very popular event due to the huge prize pool and relatively cheap buy-in (compared to industry’s other $ 100k tourneys).

Earn Points, get a Ticket

The process for earning a Free Seats to the Sunday Big Ticket freeroll entry is simple: you must earn 100 VIP points ($ 10 rake generated) from 00:01 on Sunday to the tournament start time of 15:00 on Saturday. Tournament action was paused at the iPOPS #5 $ 500,000 Guaranteed on May 6, 2012, when only 27 players remained in the action. This tournament, part of Titan Poker’s online iPOPS events with $ 1,000,000 in total guaranteed prizes, was staged as a $ 125+$ 10 freezeout and attracted 2,480 starters.

Just yesterday, the Kentucky Derby, one of the world’s most prestigious horse racing events dominated the sports world. It lasted just around two minutes. Its purse was $ 2,180,000.
